Roundhouse Primary School is located on School Drive in St Neots. We were commissioned by Cambridgeshire County Council and subsequently novated to the Design & Build Contractor to design a 1FE extension to the existing school.

The project consisted of a single storey extension to provide 8 class bases and associated welfare facilities effectively doubling the size of the existing school. The project was required to achieve a “Very Good” BREEAM rating and incorporate cost effective renewable energies with improved building efficiency and reduced running costs. The project was one of the first delivered for Cambridgeshire County Council on a two stage design and build basis utilising NEC ECC Option A contract and was delivered on time and within budget.
